Karabakh contact line situation tenser than usual, army saysFebruary 22, 2017 - 11:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The situation along the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan was tenser than usual on the night of February 21-22. According to the Karabakh Defense army, around 105 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani forces were registered on the contact line in the reporting period. Azeri troops, in particular, used various caliber firearms, D-44 divisional guns, 60-, 82- and 120-mm mortars to fire some 1500 shots. To suppress the rival's attacks, the Karabakh Defense Army forces retaliated to continue controlling the situation on the contact line.
