Armenian PM predicts 5000 IT jobs “in the near future”March 4, 2017 - 13:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Preliminary forecasts suggest that Armenia’s IT sector will offer 5000 jobs in the near future, prime minister Karen Karapetyan said at a meeting with representatives of diplomatic missions. “The IT sector has the potential to become one of the drivers of the economy,” he said. “However, we have a simple problem: we prepare 400-500 specialists each year, while there is demand for 2000 professionals.
