Armenia’s Tsarukyan alliance pledges to tackle unemployment, emigration

PanARMENIAN.Net - The election campaign of Tsarukyan alliance officially launched on Sunday, March 5, member of the National Assembly, secretary of Prosperous Armenia faction Vahe Enfiajyan said.

Parliamentary elections are slated for April 2, with nine parties and blocs running overall.

“We have less than one month to present our vision for changes in the current situation,” Enfiajyan said.

“Critical problems like poverty, unemployment, emigration, economic decline must eventually be solved.”

According to him, their political team does have the formulae to make changes and build the country.

The lawmaker said that the alliance’s election program with detailed economic arguments clearly describes the ways to achieve development in Armenia.

Tsarukyan alliance is comprised of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and Alliance party, whose head Tigran Urikhanyan was once a PAP member. Gagik Tsarukyan, founder and former leader of Prosperous Armenia, heads the alliance’s list, followed by former chairman of the Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan, head of Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction Naira Zohrabyan, as well as former MP Vardan Bostanjyan and PAP lawmaker Mikayel Melkumyan.
