Chris Pratt teases “darker and scarier” “Jurassic World 2”

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Jurassic World 2" plot detail is still kept under wraps, but returning lead actor Chris Pratt has at least shared a few details about the upcoming movie. During an interview with Screen Rant at "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" press junket, Pratt praised director J.A. Bayona as well teased "scarier" and "darker" "Jurassic World" sequel, AceShowbiz said.

"Do you know that filmmaker? He's a remarkable filmmaker. If you havent seen 'The Impossible' or 'A Monster Calls', I mean he's really visually masterful," said Pratt.

The actor later gave some bits and pieces about how the movie would look like. "Deep emotions and suspense. I think it's going to be a scarier version. A little bit darker and will continue to expand and carry the story forward in a way that is really unexpected and you wouldn't have imagined," Pratt explained.

"Jurassic World 2" will see the returns of Pratt as well as Bryce Dallas Howard and B.D. Wong. Pratt and Howard will reprise his role as Owen and Claire respectively, while Wong will return as Dr. Henry Wu. New cast members include James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith and Daniella Pineda.

Like Pratt, producer Colin Trevorrow also teased in an interview last year that "Jurassic World 2" would be "more suspenseful and scary." It would also focus more on the relationship between human and dinosaurs.

"Jurassic World 2" is set to hit U.S. theaters on June 22, 2018.
