Situation on Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line calm over past week

PanARMENIAN.Net - The situation on the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) and Azerbaijan remained relatively calm over the week of July 23-29.

180 ceasefire violations by the Azeri forces who fired from various caliber firearms and 60-mm mortars were registered in the reporting period.

Karabakh Defense Army troops remained committed to the ceasefire to continue controlling the situation on the contact line.

An Armenian contract serviceman from the village of Paravakar was wounded in Azerbaijan's cross-border fire in Tavush province on Friday, July 28.
