Karabakh contact line situation relatively calm over past week

PanARMENIAN.Net - The situation along the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) and Azerbaijan remained relatively calm over the week of July 30-August 5.

Artsakh's Defense Army said in a statement it registered 110 ceasefire violations by Azeri troops who employed various caliber firearms, as well as 60-mm mortars in the reporting period.

Karabakh forces continue controlling the situation on the contact line and protecting their positions.

The situation on the contact line has been relatively calm over the past several weeks.
