Armenia opening on-arrival visa options to Indian citizensNovember 15, 2017 - 10:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The citizens of India will be able to visit Armenia by obtaining visas on arrival, online or by applying to the country's diplomatic missions, a draft decision on the government's website reveals. The decision, which will be considered at a Cabinet session on Thursday, November 16, envisages reciprocity principle. The number of Indian citizens who visited Armenia in the first nine months of 2017 grew 168% against the same period last year. The decision thus seeks to boost tourism and foster trade ties between the two countries. Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan was recently on an official visit to Delhi where he met Indian prime minister Narendra Modi to discuss centuries-old ties between the two nations, prospects to deepen cooperation and develop bilateral relations.
