Armenia Ombudsman in Moscow to facilitate return of POWs form Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan is visiting Moscow to facilitate the return of Nagorno-Karabakh prisoners of war held by the Azerbaijani side, his office said in a statement on Thursday, December 24.

"Given the sensitivity of the matter, the details of the visit and meetings will not be disclosed," the statement added.

The first batch of 44 Armenian captives landed in Yerevan on December 14, in what authorities described as the first day of POW exchange. At least 60 people are still being held by Azerbaijan.
