Two rescuers injured in mine explosion in Armenia's south

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two rescuers were injured in a mine explosion in the south of Armenia during the search of bodies of those killed during the war in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Ministry of Emergency Situation reports.

The incident took place in the village of Nrnadzor of the region of Meghri in the country's Syunik province.

The rescuers were taken to the Meghri Medical Center and will soon be transported to a hospital in Kapan, the capital of the province.

Since November 13, the Nagorno-Karabakh rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1246 soldiers and civilians. Family members and parents of missing soldiers are also participating in the process.
