Armenia wins gold, silver and bronze at Int'l Physics Olympiad

PanARMENIAN.Net - All the four Armenian students participating in the International Physics Olympiad have won medals, including one gold, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport reports.

The Olympiad was organized by Lithuania to gather more than 450 schoolchildren from 90 countries to show their skills in solving both experimental and theoretical problems.

In particular, Artashes Gyuletsyan from Armenia snatched gold, Davit Gyulamiryan won silver, while Ruben Karakhanyan and Hakob Chakhoyan secured bronze medals. All of them are high school students.

In the previous edition of the International Physics Olympiad, the Armenian team had won five bronze medals.
