Minister: Covid infection rates drop, deaths don't in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Coronavirus infection rates are dropping in Armenia but the death rate remains high, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan told a briefing on Wednesday, November 17, Sputnik Armenia reports.

"The number of serious cases and deaths always begin to drop 2-3 weeks after [infection rates] decline. The relatively high mortality rates are still maintained. We hope those rates will decrease within a week too," Avanesyan told reporters.
