Putin to Aliyev: I would be glad to work together on regional security

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke on the phone with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Friday, December 24 and congratulated him on his 60th birthday, the Kremlin press service reveals.

Putin also sent a telegram to Aliyev, in which he noted that he would be glad to continue working together on "strengthening of regional stability and security."

“I value our friendly relations. I would be glad to continue a constructive, meaningful dialogue with you and close joint work in the interests of further developing the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership, as well as strengthening regional stability and security, ”Putin said.
