Armenia intends to open Consulate General in Iran

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia too is working on opening a consulate general in Iran, Foreign Ministry Press Secretary Vahan Hunanyan said in an interview with Sputnik Armenia

Hunanyan's comments came on the heels of reports that Iran is opening a consulate in the southern Armenian town of Kapan.

"We are also working on the opening of the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in the Islamic Republic of Iran on a reciprocal basis," Hunanyan said.
