U.S. encourages Armenia, Azerbaijan to “bridge differences”

PanARMENIAN.Net - The United States encourages Armenia and Azerbaijan to reach a durable and lasting peace agreement, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a statement on Tuesday, March 26.

“Our objectives in every engagement with the governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan are to encourage them to work to bridge the differences between the two countries and reach a durable and lasting peace agreement,” Miller told reporters.

Miller’s comments come ahead of a meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and president of the European Commission, set for April 5.
