Armenian priest accuses Pashinyan of sacrificing Artsakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Clergyman Ruben Zargaryan sharply criticized Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s recent statements on social media. In response to Pashinyan’s claim that the Mother See will be “liberated just as Armenia was freed from Serzh Sargsyan in 2018,” Zargaryan accused him of devastating consequences.

“After freeing Armenia from Serzh Sargsyan, you liquidated Artsakh, sacrificed 5,000 lives, and left 150,000 Artsakh residents homeless. What do you plan to liquidate after liberating the Mother See? How many lives are you ready to sacrifice? What scale of displacement are you planning?” he wrote on Facebook.

Pashinyan recently declared his readiness to personally lead the “liberation” of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, asserting that “the house of Christ is occupied by an anti-Christian, immoral, anti-national, and anti-state clique.” Earlier, he also said that no area within the enlarged Vagharshapat community should be off-limits to law enforcement.
