Truck traffic to Armenia via Georgia resumes![]() February 20, 2026 - 14:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Truck traffic toward the Armenian border through Georgia has resumed, the Georgian Roads Department said. “Traffic for vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers on the Akhalkalaki–Armenian border highway has been restored,” the statement said. This section of the road had been closed to such types of vehicles due to adverse weather conditions. The Upper Lars checkpoint remains closed. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
