  Armenia, Turkey discuss energy cooperation prospects March 11, 2026 - 15:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan discussed prospects for energy cooperation between the two countries during a meeting in Paris with Turkey’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar. Khudatyan announced the meeting on his Facebook page. “Following our meeting last June in Istanbul, we discussed opportunities for cooperation between Armenia and Turkey in the energy sector. Emphasizing readiness to develop direct cooperation in energy between the two countries, we discussed further steps and technical details,” Khudatyan wrote. Earlier, Khudatyan had stated that technically it is possible to connect Armenia’s energy system with the energy systems of four neighboring countries — Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Georgia. During a briefing on January 29, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said it would be advisable for Armenia’s energy system to be connected to the energy systems of Turkey and Azerbaijan as well.
