Several UAE–Armenia flights cancelled

PanARMENIAN.Net - Several flights scheduled from the United Arab Emirates to Armenia on March 16 have been cancelled.

According to information from Zvartnots International Airport, the Abu Dhabi–Yerevan flight scheduled for 12:20 p.m. on March 16 has been cancelled. The Sharjah–Yerevan flight scheduled for 5:05 p.m. will also not take place, Panorama.am reported.

In addition, the Doha–Yerevan flight scheduled for March 17 at 00:05 has also been cancelled.

Meanwhile, the Dubai–Yerevan flight has been delayed after a drone crashed near Dubai airport.

The flight had originally been scheduled to depart at 10:25 a.m. Yerevan time. According to available information, the flight from Dubai to Yerevan is now expected to depart at 9:00 p.m.

On February 28, Israel and the U.S. carried out airstrikes against Iran that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran responded with strikes against Israel and Gulf states hosting U.S. military bases.
