First shipment of U.S. beef arrives in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first commercial shipment of American beef has arrived in Armenia, the U.S. Embassy in Armenia said.

A culinary event was organized to mark the debut import of U.S. beef into the country.

According to the embassy, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires David Allen attended a meat-cutting and grilling demonstration together with chefs and professionals from the hospitality and restaurant sectors. The event showcased the high quality and diverse flavor characteristics of American beef.

“We thank the U.S. Meat Export Federation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture for organizing this wonderful celebration of taste,” the embassy said in a statement.
