Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met in Brussels with European Commission Vice-President and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas to discuss the Armenia–EU agenda.

The sides thoroughly addressed preparations for the upcoming Armenia–EU summit to be held in Yerevan in May, emphasizing agreement on implementing programs aimed at delivering tangible results for Armenian citizens.

Mirzoyan and Kallas also discussed initiatives aimed at strengthening democratic resilience, which form an important part of the value-based Armenia–EU partnership and strategic agenda. In this context, they agreed on ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of existing mechanisms supporting democratic processes.

The Armenian foreign minister and the EU’s top diplomat highlighted the importance of implementing mutually beneficial projects to enhance economic and transport connectivity, as well as cooperation in the energy sector.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.

On December 2, 2025, following the 6th meeting of the Armenia–EU Partnership Council in Brussels, Armenia and the European Union signed a strategic partnership agenda. The document was signed by Ararat Mirzoyan and Kaja Kallas.
