The award ceremony was attended by government officials, members of diplomatic missions, representatives of travel agencies and industry organizations, as well as journalists, bloggers, and influencers, Armenpress reported. Through videos and informational materials, guests were introduced to Armenia’s rich cultural heritage, historical monuments, tourism opportunities, and national cuisine. During the event, a tasting of Armenian wines and other beverages was organized, allowing attendees to experience their distinctive flavors. Armenia’s Ambassador to Cyprus, Inna Torgomyan, highlighted the importance of the award and expressed gratitude for the high recognition. According to her, it provides an important platform to present Armenia’s tourism appeal and competitiveness. The cultural segment of the event was complemented by a musical performance from renowned Cypriot-Armenian singer Hovik. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
