14 railcars of Russian wheat transit to Armenia![]() July 3, 2026 - 15:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Another transit shipment from Russia to Armenia has passed through Azerbaijan. Fourteen railcars carrying 976 metric tons of wheat were dispatched from the Balajari railway station. According to APA, more than 35,000 metric tons of grain, nearly 8,000 metric tons of fertilizer, 133 metric tons of aluminum, 68 metric tons of buckwheat and 414 metric tons of anthracite have so far been transported from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan. In addition, Azerbaijan has exported more than 14,000 metric tons of diesel fuel and nearly 5,000 metric tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline to Armenia. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
