Armenia sets first-half tourism record

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia recorded a record number of tourist visits in the first half of 2026, exceeding one million, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said.

In a Facebook post, Papoyan said the country received 1.042 million tourist visits between January and June 2026. That figure is 14.8% higher than in the same period of 2025 and represents the highest total ever recorded for the first six months of any year.
