Iranian business center to be established in Armenia within several months

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines Mohammad Nahavandian said that Iran will establish a business center in Armenia to develop and boost Armenian-Iranian trade and economic relations.

“Establishment of the business center will allow presenting the entire industrial potential of Iranian companies to the Armenian side,” said Mohammand Nahavandian during the October 1 joint press conference with Chairman of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Martin Sargsyan.

Chairman of the Iranian-Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Levon Aharonyan said that lack of information about activity of the Armenian and Iranian entrepreneurs is the basic problem hampering development of the trade relations between the two countries.

“It is foreseen that broadcast of an Iranian TV channel telling about companies activity will be organized at the business center,” said Aharonyan.

For his part, Martin Sargsyan noted that the Armenian and Iranian Chambers of Commerce and Industry will publish guides providing detailed information on activity of Armenian and Iranian companies. The guides will be provided to the countries’ businessmen. According to Sargsyan, the Armenian CCI welcomes the Iranian business center establishment. Moreover, Armenia will make an offer on opening of a similar center in Iran.
