 Employee of Byurakan Observatory Parandzem Sinamyan awarded with ArAS Annual Prize December 14, 2010 - 16:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory hosted annual awarding ceremony of ArAS Annual Prize for Young Astronomers established by one the Armenian Astronomical Society (ArAS) Co-Presidents Prof. Yervant Terzian. The prize was awarded to young scientist Parandzem Sinamyan for scientific results, ArAS told PanARMENIAN.Net The prize is being awarded to a young scientist under 35 working in astronomy or related field and showing significant results in research and/or other scientific activities connected anyhow with the Armenian astronomy. From 2004 to 2010, eight young scientists were awarded with the prize. Winners also receive a monetary prize at the amount of $250.
