Ambassador: trust in Karabakh conflict zone essential

PanARMENIAN.Net - Lithuanian ambassador to Armenia Giedrius Apuokas said that his country hails all steps of the OSCE Minsk Group aims to resolve the Nagorno Karabakh problem.

“Although Lithuania holds the OSCE presidency and pays special attention to resolution of conflicts, the Minsk Group plays the decisive role,” the ambassador told journalists in Yerevan.

One of the main obstacles for the conflict settlement is the lack of trust between the sides, according to him. “Contacts should be established to strengthen trust,” amb. Apuokas said.
