Armenian plastic surgeons keep pace with foreign colleagues

PanARMENIAN.Net - Despite plastic surgery’s merely 25- year history in Armenia, Armenian experts are in no way behind their foreign colleagues, the chairman of Armenian Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (AAPRAS) stated.At news conference in Yerevan Armen Hovhannisyan stressed that exchange of experience with foreign colleagues is essential in further development of plastic surgery sector in Armenia. “We have to be integrated in all the field-related processes,” he said.

The president of International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS) Marita Eisenmann Klein, in turn, noted that plastic surgery development level in Armenia can serve as an example to other regional states.
