Polish director Wojciech Marczewski to attend Golden Apricot film fest July 12, 2011 - 14:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Golden Apricot 8th international film festival will host the screening of films by famous Polish director Wojciech Marczewski. 3 of the most acknowledged films by Marczewski will be screened during the festival: Shivers (1981), Escape from the 'Liberty' Cinema (1990), Weiser (2001). During his stay in Yerevan, Mr. Marczewski will hold a master class for students of State Institute of Cinema and Theater. Wojciech Marczewski (born 28 February 1944) directed twelve films between 1968 and 2001.Marczewski's Shivers won the Silver Bear - Special Jury Prize at the 32nd Berlin International Film Festival; Escape from the 'Liberty' Cinema was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1991 Cannes Film Festival.
