NPP power unit construction conference in Armenia delayed in connection with Japan disaster

PanARMENIAN.Net - A conference for construction of new power unit for Armenian NPP was postponed till autumn in connection with Japan disaster.

As Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan told a news conference in Yerevan, Russia’s Rosatom state nuclear energy corporation, as well as some foreign companies, show major interest to energy block construction. As the Minister, however, noted, construction of the energy block aroused more interest before the nuclear tragedy in Japan.

The conference is expected to host countries, organizations and legal persons planning to invest in construction of the energy block.
