20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence to be marked on Armenian-Iranian border

PanARMENIAN.Net - Days of Armenian culture will be held in Iran in September, according to Armenian Ambassador to Iran Grigor Arakelyan

Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan will participate in the event, Arakelyan told Mohammad Bagher Khoramshad, head of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.

The Ambassador also stressed that in the framework of celebration of the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence cultural events dedicated to Armenian-Iranian friendship are planned in Meghri, city on Armenian-Iranian border.

In turn, Khoramshad noted that Islamic Culture and Relations Organization will spare no efforts to deepen historical and cultural ties between the two states, IRNA reports.
