ANC to wait for leadership’s agreement to hold snap election till end of Sept.![]() August 26, 2011 - 15:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian National Congress opposition bloc will be waiting for the authorities’ agreement to hold extraordinary elections in the republic till the end of September. “In case of agreement, we will have only one demand – immediate resignation of President Serzh Sargsyan. We still have time to resolve problems through a dialogue,” Levon Zurabyan told a news conference in Yerevan. He compared the situation with a game of chess when one of the players (the authorities) is kicking the other’s foot under the table. “It’s not the game we want to play,” Zurabyan said. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
