Former Karabakh committee member predicts Armenian snap elections in autumn

PanARMENIAN.Net - Early elections in Armenia are likely to be held in autumn, according to a former member of Karabakh committee.

“Early elections may be prompted by a looming national rebellion,” Ashot Manucharyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

In his view, if a certain political force fails to lead the people then the Armenian people themselves will lead the political forces, which does not quite meet the interests of some political figures.

Manucharyan emphasized that 99% of the Armenian people, tycoons among them, are ready for rebellion.

According to Manucharyan, there is no radical opposition in Armenia. “Opposition should be a source of changes which the country lacks at present,” he said.
