Yerevan newspaper editor killed

PanARMENIAN.Net - Editor of “Menk Merontsov” Yerevan-based newspaper has been killed.

According to the press service of Armenian police, law enforcement agencies identified the female body found in Kotayk region on September 1, 2011, as 51 year-old Alvard Abrahamyan, editor of “Menk Merontsov”, who had been missing since August 10.

The body was found in the vicinity of Charents’ Ark monument in the village of Voghjaberd, 45 meters far from the road. Signs of violence were detected around the neck.
