PanARMENIAN.Net awarded with Freedom of Information Center’s Golden Key

PanARMENIAN.Net - PanARMENIAN.Net information agency was announced the best media covering information freedom issues in 2011.

On September 28, International “Right to Know” Day, Freedom of Information Center of Armenia (FOICA) hosted Golden Key and Rusty Lock award ceremony.

At the event, the head of the Political, Economic, Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Onno Simons handed the Golden Key award to PanARMENIAN.Net editor-in-chief Marina Ananikyan.

Human Rights in Armenia website (hra.am) was awarded in the same nomination.

No one was given a Rusty Lock award not to dampen the festive mood on the 10th anniversary of FOICA.

Lragir.am journalist Arman Gharibyan was named the most active reporter, covering key issues of information freedom.
