Armenian Nuclear Power Plant is located at a distance of 160 km from the quake epicentre, with 4-point tremors felt at the plant. The quake inflicted no damage on the NPP designed to withstand 9-point earthquakes. Similarly, no settlement or a building in Armenia was damaged. As NPP CEO Gagik Markosyan noted, minor tremors felt in the plant territory are no reason for concern, nor do they need to be commented.
