Construction of new reactor for Armenian NPP priority on Russia agenda

PanARMENIAN.Net - Cooperation in the contruction of a new reactor for Armenian Nuclear Power Station is a priority project on Russia’s international collaboration agenda, according to Rosatom deputy chief executive.

As Nikolai Spassky stated during Yerevan-hosted CIS committee sitting on peaceful use of nuclear energy, “Russia is determined to participate in the implementation of the project and is also interested in the operations of the new NPP.”

As the Rosatom deputy chief executive and Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Areg Galstyan noted, construction works are progressing in accordance with schedule.
