Music cassette tape retro player app for iPhone released

PanARMENIAN.Net - AirCassette app is a music cassette tape retro player for the iPhone. It throws up a cute animation of a tape when music is playing, Gadget Lab reports.

Though the name, AirCassette, conjures up images of somebody rewinding an invisible cassette with an imaginary ballpoint pen, the moniker more likely comes from the app’s AirPlay support.

It also lets users to create mix tapes and queue songs - something the built-in music player still doesn’t do.

It is possible to choose from many classic tape designs. They’re all slightly tweaked to avoid copyright infringements. Control is via swipe and touch. Taping the tape spindles skips forward and back, taping the tape window plays or pauses and swiping left or right chooses cassettes or enters the library.

The app is available for iOS devices to buy at iTunes for 2 dollars.
