Dwelling on the statement made by an Armenian civil activist at a NATO seminar suggesting that “Armenia and Azerbaijan breach the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE),” the expert told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that such statements prompt distrust towards human rights advocates in Armenia. “If the statement belonged to a European official, it would provoke fair indignation, but it becomes inexplicable when made by an Armenian official,” Jamalyan noted. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
