At the meeting, the Mayor praised current level of Armenia-Italy relations, expressing hope for further approximation of ties. As he noted in this context, in the framework of a protocol to be signed during the visit of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to Italy, Yerevan and Venice will become twin cities. “Armenia and Italy have many common traits which must be used for strengthening bilateral ties,” the Ambassador stressed.
