Lebanese President will see to fulfilment of agreements with Armenia![]() December 10, 2011 - 15:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Lebanese President Michel Sleiman promised to see to proper implementation of agreements signed during his visit to Yerevan. As Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan noted during a farewell reception in Sleiman's honour, the Lebanese President's visit to Armenia proved the interest of both friendly states in further development of ties. On December 8, Mr. Sleiman arrived in Armenia on the invitation of Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan. Meeting with President Sargsyan, Armenian officials as well as Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II were on the agenda. Also, agreements to promote development of bilateral relations were signed during the visit. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. Partner news |
