Dubai Film Festival features movie by Armenian directorDecember 15, 2011 - 17:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - From December 7-14, UAE hosted 8th Dubai International Film Festival featuring Armenian, Qatar and Lebanese joint movie February 19. The film, directed by Tamara Stepanyan, is set in a train between Yerevan and Tbilisi in Armenia. It tells an intense story about two individuals passionately in love, who, however, resolutely overcome their nagging temptation to meet each other, despite nothing coming in their way. “We create in our minds an image about the lover, and these two individuals, deeply in love, know that something in their relationship will die if they meet. The door between their compartments is open; yet they chose not to go,” Tamara said. This year the festival brought together 171 films, both by masters and amateurs, Khaleej Times reported.
