The bill approved by the House of Representatives this week reads: "the owner, charterer, operator or captain of a vessel must confirm that, within 180 days prior to arrival at U.S. ports, it has not enter the ports of Iran, North Korea or Syria." Should the ship-owners hide any information, the ship will be refused entry into U.S. ports for two years. Before the bill comes into force, it must stand a discussion in the Senate and get the signature of the President.
