As Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan told a resulting press conference on December 27, Armenian Parliament may adopt a relevant draft law stipulating time zone shift implementation in two stages. According to him, before moving to a different time zone, transition to winter mode is envisaged to be abolished in Armenia, with a shift that corresponds to Armenia’s geographical position to be carried out in 1-2 years. “The shift will bring us closer to Moscow and Europe’s time zone,” Minister Davtyan said.
