Nokia unveils first Windows phone for U.S. market

PanARMENIAN.Net - It was expected that Nokia is using CES 2012 to unveil their first Windows phone for the U.S. market.

The Nokia Lumia 900 supports LTE and will be exclusive for AT&T. The Nokia Lumia 900 allows data downloads up to 50Mbps on AT&T’s 4G LTE network. The only problem is that the AT&T LTE network is still pretty new and the coverage areas are limited. The Nokia Lumia does support HSPA as well so you still can get 21Mbps where that is available, i4u.com reports.

The Nokia Lumia 900 has 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display with a 800 by 480 pixel resolution. Other features of the Nokia Lumia 900 include 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8055 + MDM9200 processors, 1,840mAH battery for up to 7 hours of talk-time, 512MB RAM, 16GB Storage, 8MP camera, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and Windows Phone OS 7.5 (Mango).

Measurements of the Nokia Lumia 900 are 127.8 x 68.5 x 11.5 mm (5 x 2.7 x .45 inches) and the weight is 160g (5.6 ounces).

There is no release date and pricing for the Nokia Lumia 900 yet. It is supposed to arrive in the coming months.
