Shirak airport in Armenia closes amid heavy snowfall

PanARMENIAN.Net - Shirak airport in Armenia’s city of Gyumri has been closed amid heavy snowfall.

As Nelly Cherchinyan, a spokesperson for the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia (GDCA), told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, flights will be resumed after the snow stops.

Zvartnots International Airport has also canceled all flights due to bad weather conditions.
