Armenian rep. included in Council of Europe Committee on gender issues

PanARMENIAN.Net - As a result of close voting, Armenian representative, head of Human Rights and Humanitarian Issues Desk of RA Foreign Affairs Ministry, Karine Soudjian was elected member of Council of Europe Committee on gender issues. The Committee targets shaping of policy on gender equality, Armenian MFA reports.

It comprises 16 members, with Armenian delegate as the only representative from the South Caucasus region.
