Mikey Geragos elected USC student govt. presidentMarch 7, 2012 - 16:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Students of University of Southern California elected Mikey Geragos to serve as Undergraduate Student Government President in the 2012-2013 school year. Geragos, a junior majoring in planning, policy and development with a minor in business law, currently serves as USG’s Director of University Affairs. Geragos who was a member of the Student Senate last year also served as Speaker of the Senate, for which he won the “Senator of the Year Award.” He is a member of Society 53, the USC Alumni Association’s Student Outreach Program, where he has been on the board for two years. He is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, serving on the executive board. He currently sits on the General Education Review board as well as the Sustainability board. Last year he won the “Tommy’s Student Governance Award” for leadership in multiple organizations. Geragos is the son of Karen and Matthew Geragos, and the brother of Rachel Geragos. His paternal grandparents are Betty Jane and Paul Geragos, and maternal grandparents are Margie Agajanian and the late George E. Agajanian. Geragos said, “I’ve known I wanted to be president since I stepped on this campus.
