Armenian President participates in EurAsEC summit

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 19, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan participated in the summit of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC), as a part of his working visit to Moscow. Presidents of EurAsEC member states, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, as well as heads of state of the organization’s observer countries including Armenia, Ukraine and Moldova attended the summit.

Reorganization of EurAsEC institutions, boosting the effectiveness of their activity, further development of integration processes in the Eurasian economic zone were in focus of the meeting.

Tonight, President of Armenia will participate in a reception organized by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in honor of heads of state having attended the EurAsEC summit.
