According to CNET, due for release this Thursday, March 22, the highly anticipated 36.3-megapixel full-frame D800 features a dizzying array of features, and up to 1080/30p video recording. With reservations and demand "far above expectations," the statement from Nikon admits the company faces D800 supply shortages until further notice. The notice fails to mention if this affects the alternate D800E model as well. Unlike the D800, that camera lacks an anti-aliasing filter, an omission that results in better sharpness.
