Armenian speaker content with 5th place on RPA candidates list

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Assembly speaker commented the electoral list of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

According to Samvel Nikoyan, he is not offended at all by being placed the 5th, instead of the second, which is a common practice of NA speakers.

“Why should I be offended? I was the 24th when included in the previous parliament. I have philosophical views on everything,” Mr. Nikoyan said.

Asked as to whether ex-speaker of NA Hovik Abrahamyan’s second place in the parliament implies he will reassume the post, Nikoyan noted, “Time will show. Don’t make conclusions and forecasts.”
